Rage

Violence has direct purpose, direction and intention. Punches and stabs do not float in the air, they have a target to hit.
When tracked and drawn the gestural traces of Anthony Perkins as Norman Bates the killer are lines that curve into the centre. When cut and reformed the shape revealed one of pure rage.
Repeatedly burnished with yellow ochre and tenacity. Rage gleams malevolently.
